A community effort is underway to preserve and restore as much of this 2nd-growth redwood forest as possible — all its old-growth has already been logged. Its current land steward, Green Diamond timber company, plans additional clearcuts.
Daring nature lovers gathered Sat., April 27, 2013, making these images drawing attention to the importance of preserving and restoring this and other healthy forests, critical in our era of anthropogenic climate change.
